Mach-X — 2023–2024

From 10–14 July, Peryton Space attended Mach-24. The team flew in the combined 1.5 & 3 km category with the high-power rocket developed over the 2023/2024 academic year, aiming for a 3 km apogee. First-time composite manufacturing with flax-based fins and integrated solar cells on the nosecone, plus an entire test rocket — another team first. CanSat and recovery systems recorded the flight: the rocket reached 2.5 km, our highest apogee to date.
